Had a haircut and shave with Alex and it was excellent.... He’s warm, professional and clearly skilled. The shave was careful and smooth, the facial/massage was relaxing, and the haircut was clean and well-balanced with great attention to detail. Alex makes me look great!I first started using him about... 5 years ago and since then he is my only barber. He understands hair at a very deep level, and knows how to make your hair work with _you_ as an individual.If you are a first timer, do spend some time talking with him about what you want, then sit back and let the magic happen.He has some definitive ideas about how to care for your hair. Besides a haircut, expect an education in how to keep your hair looking fine. He really knows his stuff.His shop is really cool as well. He has a very eclectic taste in music, he will probably expand your horizons in that domain too.read more

Alex is a wizard sent from a cosmic realm to make your hair... more beautiful than you could have imagined! I took the haircare workshop with him and was astounded at what I learned and how amazing the results were. As an investment in the health and longevity of my hair, this was a fantastic decision. It also must be said that Alex is incredible as a person. It is rare to meet someone who has found and accepted themselves so completely. He is a beautiful soul and quite inspiring to be around.
